Abuja Doctor Nabbed for Sexually Abusing Patients
In a press briefing on Tuesday, The FCT Commissioner of Police, Mustafa Mohammed, disclosed that The police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have arrested a 47-year-old consultant gynecologist,
Dr. Kalu Nwachukwu for allegedly sexually abusing some of his female patients, and the suspect confessed to have had sexual affair with some of his female patients in his office or other locations after inducing them with drugs. He said the suspect was arrested on August 4th following a tip off that he is in the habit of taking undue advantage of some of his female patients, adding that “Investigations also revealed that the suspect uses drugs to induce his victim in order to have intercourse with them. Therefore corroborating the allegations brought up against him,” He urged members of the public to do thorough background check on the credibility of doctors they intend to engage as their personal or family physician.
