Tanga: Albinism Association (TAS) Secretary, Mohamudu Salehe has revealed that five people with albinism have died in Tanga Region, Tanzania due to skin cancer, it has been reported, saying, that the deaths occurred in the past five years.
He said that skin cancer has been a major problem for people with albinism as it claims the life a single person every year due to lack of clinics and education among the people.
People with albinism in Tanga Region face such problems due to lack of financial resources, data on the number of people with albinism, learning facilities and unemployment.
