A bomb blast detonated by two female suicide bombers claimed 11 people yesterday including the bombers in Kano, North-West Nigeria; about 47 persons were also injured and are receiving treatment. The explosion occurred at the GSM market.

The previous day, a bomb also went off in Yola, Adamawa State, North-East Nigeria killing 30 people and injuring several others.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari , has asked Nigerians not to lose hope, adding that Boko Haram, the terrorist group responsible for the blasts will soon be defeated.
