Bowel Cancer 

1. Bowel cancer is of the cancer that affects the large intestines; also called colon cancer or colorectal cancer.
2. Men are slightly more affected than women, not common before 50 yrs.
4. The risk factors include cigarette smoking/alcohol abuse/obesity/physical inactivity/low fibre diet/ red meat.
5. The symptoms include blood in your stool/change in your bowel habit/abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss/a lump in the abdomen.
6. Screening is advised from age 50 years until you are 75 years.
7. You can prevent bowel cancer by a healthy diet and good lifestyle.
