Car side windows are less protective than wind shield against UV – A radiation from the sun; thus the risk of cataract and skin cancer is higher on the left side of the face – the study was done by a team in Beverly Hills, California.

Wind shield blocks 96% of UV-A radiation while car side glass blocks only 71 percent.
