A new type of cell therapy could reduce the rate of death and hospitalization in heart failure patients by 37 percent.
Dr. Amit N. Patel, Director, Clinical Regenerative Medicine Programme, University of Utah, USA said the therapy slows down or reverses the rate of progression of the disease.

The researchers removed bone marrow from the hip bone, processed and injected it into the weakest part of the heart.
