During the visit of members of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Lagos state chapter to the Lagos State University College of Medicine, Prof. Babatunde Solagberu, the provost of the College said that there was a need for the creation of an institute in the college to cater for the health of women and children, adding that the college was expanding and could be a good base for the institute.He also urged the Association to remain focused on its mandate of caring for women and children, look beyond outreach programmes and create an institute that would take care of women and children’s health.
