In an assessment report “Livelihoods and Economic Recovery Assessment 2016” an international organization OXFAM, said that over 330,000 Internally Displaced Person (IDPs) were in danger of epidemic in the North East region of the country due to lack of potable water and poor sanitation.

The Humanitarian Manager, OXFAM Nigeria, Olayinka Fagbemi, therefore called on the Government and development partners to help save the situation.
