During the flagged off the ceremony at Wassa community, Kabusa ward of Abuja, Municipal Area Council (AMAC), the Executive Secretary of FCTPHCDB, Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, disclosed that The Federal Capital Territory Primary Health Care Development Board (FCTPHCDB) has deployed 1, 642 teams across the six area councils as it flags off the third round of the 2016 sub-national immunization plus days in the FCT, and The vaccination, targeted at children below five years, started on Saturday and is expected to be concluded on Tuesday,

and the teams were made up of 1,166 house to house teams, 127 fixed teams, 318 special teams and 13 observers who would directly observe the polio vaccination exercise while 900,000 doses of bOPV2 were available for the exercise. He also said 70 state level supervisors and 75 national monitors had been engaged and deployed to the six area councils to strengthen supervision and monitoring to standard, adding that  FCT had demonstrated progressive improvement in the quality of implementation.
