A new America research at the University of California, Los Angeles, has found out that fructose consumption could alter and potentially damage hundred of genes in the brain; causing a range of diseases from diabetes to cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer disease and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; all of which are linked to changes in genes in the brain.

The team study recommended that people should reduce their sugar intake.
