At a three day High Level meeting on ending HIV/AIDS at the 70th session of he General Assembly in the United Nations headquarters in New York, the Vice-President, Paa Kwesi Amessah-Arthur has presented the country’s National progress report that Ghana has recorded significant progress between 2009-2014 in the key target areas of ending HIV/AIDS as the country has recorded a 30 percent reduction in new HIV infections and a 43 percent reduction in AIDS- related deaths.
