Green tea and Down syndrome-Study.
For the first time, a treatment has shown some improvement in cognitive skills for people with Down syndrome as a new study published in Lancet Neurology has revealed how a compound found in green tea called Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)

has promise to improve cognitive functions and treatment of individuals with Down syndrome-a common genetic condition that occurs when an individual has a partial or full additional copy of chromosome 21; three copies of chromosome rather than the normal two.
