2.HIV infection may or may not lead to AIDS
Not all HIV infections progress to AIDS. The amount of virus has be heavy in the body (Viral load) and the number of self-defense cells (CD4 or T-cells) very low for the infection to progress to AIDS.
The viral load can be reduced and put in check by anti-retroviral drugs.

3.Coconut is Useful in Medical emergencies
Coconut water is like blood without the red cells; it is sterile and can be used and has been used to replace blood through transfusion during war when medical personnel run short of everything. 4.Worm infection is still common in developing countries
Worm infection is still common in developing countries (tropical countries) due to pausity of potable water, poor personal hygiene, and poor sanitary facilities. Disposal of feacal waste even in some cities is insanitary, sometimes dumped in rivers or streams.
A large proportion of the population in developing countries do open defeacation, thus contaminating the soil. In the rural areas , there are no toilets, few boreholes are productive, few sanitary wells exist and the knowledge of water hygiene is non-existent or very rudimentary.
Worm infection in many cases spreads through the mouth from contaminated hands or drinking contaminated water or through skin penetration.
However, worm infection is not restricted to the tropics, certain infections occur worldwide. Some of the infections are without symptoms, while others are responsible for blindness, anaemia, various disabilities etc.

5.Smoking can cause sagging breasts
Smoking is a risk factor for sagging breasts. Nicotine is said to have free radicals which accelerate loss of collagen in our skin thus reducing the elasticity. It is this loss of skin elasticity that contributes to sagging breasts.  Do not smoke.

6.Meningitis could be contracted from pets
Meningitis is a highly contagious disease which spreads from person to person. It is a disease of the cover of the brain and spinal cord. It is found all over the world but more common in crowded communities with poor ventilation. In Nigeria,it is more common in the northern part which lies within the “Meningitis Belt”.  People in all ages can have the disease but those under 30 years are more at risk.
Meningitis is caused by several agents on individual basis. It could be due to bacteria, virus, fungi, parasites or even injuries or cancer.
Meningitis can spread from pet to its owner through kissing from the pet; the saliva of cats or dogs contains a germ called pasteurella multocida  as it lives in their mouths; it can also be through bites by the pet, by licking the nose/mouth/eyes of the owner ( pets are fond of doing that if allowed ).

7.Asthma cannot spread from one person to another
Asthma is a non-communicable lifelong condition characterized by occasional narrowing and swelling of the airways through which air enters and leaves our lungs.
The cause of asthma is not quite clear but heredity is thought to play a major role in who gets the disease.  If your parent or sibling has it then your risk of having it is high.
Other risk factors include overweight, cigarette smoking, persistent occupational exposure to some chemicals ( those working in places where certain chemicals are used or manufactured such as paint companies, hairdressing saloons are at risk), Persistent exposure to airborne allergens (things that the body can react to such as pollen, mold, cockroaches, dust), persistent exposure to cooking smoke when using wood or charcoal. Asthma is not a communicable disease; it cannot spread from one person to another
