A new study report produced by Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco has shown that pre-exposed consumption of anti- retroviral drugs can prevent HIV Infection. The study showed a 100% success rate, that is, all those who took the drugs were saved from HIV Infection even though exposed to high risk individuals. The study involved 600 high risk volunteers involved in man to man sex.

In previous studies, according to CDC, success rate for those who took the drugs consistently was 92% in the US while in Britain it was 82%.

This study is the first to achieve 100% success rate after observation of the participants for two and a half years.
