Addressing the plenary session of the second All Russia Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) week in Sochi, Ouedraogo, the International Labour Organization (ILO) has highlighted the need to scale up prevention to ensure a safe and healthy work place and fight the HIV epidemic.

The ILO has also adopted more than 40 International Labour conventions and recommendations specifically dealing with occupational safety and health as well as over 40 code of practice to contribute to the improvement of working conditions for all workers while also creating Global awareness of occupational safety and health (OSH) issues.
