Two international organisations plan to set up a children’s hospital in Nyandarua county. MCA Peter Kairu said the Israel Agency for International Development Cooperation will engage the Canadian International Development Agency to establish the paediatric centre. The chairman of the Health Committee spoke in the Nyandarua county assembly on Tuesday.

Kairu moved a motion for adoption of a report by the committee on a visit to Israel by a delegation from the county. The delegation toured Israel between November 10and 18 last year. The Githabai ward MCA urged Health executive Peter Mbugua to come up with a concept paper. “Hastening the process and disclosing details of the project will give others time to plan for it” Kairu said.
