Lassa fever patient discharged from LUTH

A 25 years old  student who tested positive to Lassa fever, after receiving treatments has recovered from the disease and discharged by the Lagos state University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba.
The student was the first to be diagnosed with Lassa fever in Lagos following the recent outbreak of the disease in the country and LUTH is one of the first Hospital in the South West to successfully admit, manage and discharge a Lassa fever patient in the current outbreak
