A Cuttington University College (CUC) Business Professor, G. Nagbae Saylee, has called on Sinoe County lawmakers to increase the budgetary allotment for the healthcare delivery of the county. “If that is done, the people will have the necessary healthcare services in Sinoe County,” Nagbae said in his keynote address during the installation program of officers of the Jeadepo Development Council (JDC) held at the D. Twe Memorial High School in New Kru Town recently.

“All of these developmental initiatives cannot take place if the people are not united as citizens of Sinoe County,” he noted. Nagbae pointed out that in order to achieve this objective, the people must first and foremost truly reconcile their differences and come together as one people to constructively engage each other and their kinsmen back home. “We need to work harder to make our district a beacon of hope and a trailblazer of education in the country,” he said, adding “let us consider it our duty and do something for and on behalf of our people.”

Nagbae said he strongly believes that there is still room for improvement in which the district can be well developed. “We should begin by taking little but incremental steps aimed at doing the right things for our people,” he emphasized.
