Researchers have revealed that those who work 55 hours or more a week have greater risk of stroke and heart attack compared with those working less than 40 hours.
The study by a research team in University College, London and published in the journal- Lancet, shows that the increased risk increased with the number of hours; those between 41-48 hours had 10 percent higher risk of stroke; 49-54 hours had 27  percent higher risk. The study analyzed data from 17 studies involving 528,000 men and women for 7.2 years.
