The Association of Resident Doctors, Lagos University Teaching Hospital branch, Lagos, South west Nigeria has called on Nigerians to walk briskly for about 30-45 minutes daily in order to cut down the  risk of Cardiovascular Disease.

The advice was given through the association’s president Dr. Ramon Moronkola while speaking to News Agency of Nigeria during what is termed “cardiovascular walk” in Ikeja, capital of Lagos State.

The walk was to usher in the Health Week and Scientific Conference for 2015 of the association in Lagos.
