Black tea has its value in the antioxidants it has; the later fights free radicals in our body which accelerates aging and cell damage. However milk proteins bind the antioxidants making them unavailable for absorption in the intestines. Consequently, even the smallest amount of milk (cow or soya) should not be added to black tea.
