Nigeria: 40 Diagnosed of Breast Cancer at Market Screening

and The 40 persons, including a man and 39 market women, were shocked to discover their status following the screening organized by Mrs. Olufunsho Amosun, wife of the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun. The exercise, the 2016 edition of the annual event, was carried out under her pet project tagged Uplift Cancer Awareness Campaign in collaboration with the state chapter of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria. In his remarks, the state governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun assured that his administration would foot the medical bill of the 40 new patients who are to undergo surgical operation for breast lump removal.
