Nigeria: German Embassy Donates Clinic to IDPs to Combat Malaria
German embassy in Nigeria has partnered with African Health Initiative and the National Youth Service Corps scheme (NYSC) to combat malaria and other diseases among the internally displaced persons in Abuja.

The embassy, in its quest to achieving this objective has established a clinic equipped with modern laboratory facilities at New Kuchingoro IDPs camp.
Speaking about the motive behind the project, the representative of the German ambassador at the unveiling of the health facility Mr. Yacine Harrak said the project was conceived out of the need to save women and children from the deadly paws of malaria which has already claimed some lives on the camp. “The idea for the project was that some months ago there were several malaria cases, especially children were affected.
