As part of activities to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Nigerian Navy (NN), free medical services which include Blood pressure check, Eye test and free Eye glasses as well as deworming children and adults was provided for over 25,000 Internally Displaced persons (IDPs) at the Dalori 11 resettlement camp in Borno state, North east Nigeria.
The Chief of Naval staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas said the programme was an integral part of the Navy’s Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) aimed at promoting healthy relationship between civilians and the military.
