Some Nigerian doctors are to receive training on cancer management from consultants of Apollo Hospitals based in India. This undertaking was given in Warri, Delta State, South-south Nigeria by the Head Manager of the group, Abubakar Siddique during a seminar organized by Apollo Hospitals in collaboration with Capital Hill Hospital, Warri.

He explained that the training will reduce medical tourism to India as some cases could then be handled in-country.

According to WHO, cancer is officially now the greatest killer in the world.
