Nigerian researchers from the Nigeria’s National Research Institute for Chemical Technology said they have found a pesticide capable of killing a specie of moth that has been ravaging the country’s tomato crop, destroying 80 percent of tomatoes in farms in different states, particularly the North of Nigeria.

Kaduna state farmers have lost millions of Dollars.

The Research institute also said farmers would have to wait as the new pesticide is not yet commercially available.
