Ondo State trains 1000 student to drive its Youth Health Programme.

Dr. Dayo Adeyanju, Ondo State Health commissioner has revealed that 1000 secondary school students have been trained under its Adolescent and Youth Friendly Health Programme (AYFHP) as Health Marshals to help challenge the resourcefulness of young people towards productive engagement.

He said the Government has established a fully functional Governance structure institutionalized into the state system in the hierarchy of the state Ministry of Health, Technical working group, Local Government desk officers, Health facilities desk officer, youth coordinators, functional website, sensitization of medical directors, youth friendly services training of AYFH clinic service providers as well as collaboration of school youth in the state.
In addition, Health clubs were inaugurated in collaboration with culture, women affairs education and social development ministry to instill culture and moral values.
