Rough tongues are more associated with smelly mouth than smooth tongues, an American expert has said. According to him the mouth has billions of bacteria which break down food left-over in the mouth releasing smelling gas containing sulphur or hydrogen peroxide etc. Rough tongues according to the expert have fissures and grooves which contain more bacteria than smooth tongues.
