The Rotary club of Ikeja, Lagos State, South west Nigeria has donated environmental sanitation and cleaning materials worth several thousand of naira to Obada Ipodo market in Ikeja, Lagos.

The club’s president, Tosin Kadiri who led the ceremony disclosed that the absence of refuse bins and other cleaning materials led to their action.

He also said that the recent outbreaks of Lassa fever and Zika virus infection are of serious concern to all because WHO (World Health Organization) has revealed that 2.4 billion people worldwide live under very poor sanitary condition which increase the risk communicable diseases.
