As Nigeria unites with other countries to mark this year’s World Tuberculosis Day, the World Health Organization (WHO) has ranked Nigeria as one of the countries with the highest burden of Tuberculosis.

WHO further disclosed that though TB death rate dropped by 47% between 1990 and 2015, the disease still infects about half a million Nigeria every year and kills about 170,000.
