A survey sponsored by the Commonwealth Fund which compared healthcare systems in 11 developed countries as at the end of 2014 has just been published. The survey compared costs, efficiency and effectiveness of the various healthcare systems in the eleven countries including the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Russia, China, United states of America, Sweden, Germany and Australia.

The United Kingdom came tops while the USA came last, that is , eleventh position.
