Tomorrow the 13th of February is the International Condom Day, a day set aside to raise on the benefits of protective sex through the use of condom.
Condom reduces the risk of unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases such as Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, Chlamydia, Herpes genitalis, Trichomoniasis, Candidasis and many others.
The date chosen is so apt as it precedes Valentine’s day aka Lovers’ Day by just twenty four hours.
