The FCT primary Health care Development Board Executive Secretary, Dr. Rilwanu Muhammad  has revealed that, an unknown disease suspected to be typhoid fever or Shigella dysentery has killed 13 people in Saburi community in Abuja.
According to him, the victims experienced fever, abdominal pain and a diarrhea and sometimes bloody diarrhea and subsequently died.
He further said there is no good sanitation in the area and that it is not food poisoning or cholera or gastro enteritis
The scribe urged the residents to embrace good personal hygiene and assured them of the board’s effort in controlling the situation as well as treating the infected persons.
