The United Kingdom (UK) through the Department for International Development (DFID) has invested over Eu89m  in the fight against malaria and other related diseases in Nigeria.

The Executive Director, Consurtum Charles Nelson said this in a seminar under the Support the National Malaria Programme (SUNMAP).

The National Coordinator, National Malaria  Eradication Programme, Dr Nnenna Ezeigwe  hampered greatly on the progress in malaria control and  advised Nigerians to always make sure they sleep in insecticide treated nets, keep a clean environments among others to avoid mosquito bites.
