Students of the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria embarked on a day protest, yesterday, over what they termed bed bugged infested and insanitary hostels. According to them, the mattresses are old and bed bug infested and the hostels are riddled with pests; the other pests were however not mentioned. They asked for regular fumigation of the hostels and new mattresses.
The authorities are already addressing the issues raised according to Deputy Registrar for Information of the university.
