A new study by the Sustainable Research and Action for Environmental Development (SRA Dev Nigeria) under the auspices of Developing World Outreach Initiative (DWOI), USA, has alleged that dangerous toxic chemicals in cosmetics are widely used in saloons and beauty parlors in Nigeria despite their health effects on the nervous, respiratory, renal and reproductive systems, the skin and eyes of both the users and the salon workers.
