The problem of polluted public water in Flint, Michigan State, United States of America has been in the news for more than a week but what is new is that the Governor has been called by some to resign while others have said he should be arrested.

The water is poisoned by lead due to the source, Flint River, by General Motors plant and the reticulation network made up of lead pipes.

The town has a population of about 102,000 with about 57 percent black, 37 percent white and 4 percent Latino; but they are all largely poor.

Delayed action or in-action by the State Government is now called “environmental Discrimination” by activists.
