The Executive Director, WHO, Natela Menabde, has disclosed WHO’s requirements of 56 million Dollars to implement the newly launched Global Strategy to guide the International response to the spread of Zika virus, Neonatal malformations and Neurological conditions associated with it.

The Executive Director, WHO, also said that 25 million Dollars out of the 56 million Dollars would fund the Joint response of WHO, the Regional office for the Americans (AMRO) and the PAN America Health Organization (PAHO) while the other 31 million Dollars would fund the work of key partners.
