A study to be published in March 2016 shows that women married to taller men are happier than those married to shorter men but only for the first 18 years. About 7000 Indonesian women were interviewed by a South Korean study team.

Though similar studies have not been done elsewhere, the results are expected to be the same.

However shorter men are said to be less likely to divorce and live slightly longer than the taller men and in an American study are more sexually active.
