Don seeks fund for Owerri Medical Centre.
At the re-opening of the outreach station at Izombe in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo state,

the Chairman, Interim Management Committee of the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri. Prof. Ndu Eke has called on the state Government to provide its counterpart funding for the operation of the tertiary hospital outreach centre in order to complement the service of the FMC, which would soon be a University Teaching Hospital for training of specialist doctors. Eke also said that the centre would not succeed without Government’s financial and technical support as the centre required two 300 KVA generators, two ambulances, two staff buses and laboratory equipment to function effectively.
