Heart disease responsible for 31 percent of deaths globally

A recent study has shown that heart disease is now the greatest killer worldwide, being responsible for about 31 percent of deaths globally and one in every three American deaths. The heart related diseases are stroke, high blood pressure, heart attack, heart failure etc.


The report was released some days back by the American Heart Association which advises that we continue to work on maintaining healthy heart lifestyle through appropriate diet, treatment of hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol level and non-smoking.
