At the launch event in Rwanda, the Prime Minister Anastase Murekezi announced that eight districts namely, Kicukiro, Nyarurenge, Rwamagana, Kayonza, Ngoma, Nyabibu, Ruhango and Nyanza are to benefit from a five year RWF 14.8bn project ‘Gikuro project’ to help fight against malnutrition among women and children.

The project developed by the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with the Government of Rwanda will focus on community-level service delivery intervention and district-level capacity strengthening to advance Rwanda’s strategies to improve nutrition.
