Spanish lawyer accused at suffocating adopted Chinese daughter

A Spanish lawyer suffocated her 12 year old adopted daughter to death in a plan hatched with her ex-husband, a public prosecutor told jurors at a trial. The couple is accused of drugging the victim with sedative periodically for three months and finally asphyxiating her.
At the time of her death, the couple was separated but they said they were raising their adopted daughter together.
