Guinness Nigeria Plc, one of the Nigeria’s brewing giants has warned that indecent and excessive drinking of alcohol can damage the liver.
Speaking at the DRINKiQ training programme, the Corporate Relations Director, Mr. Sesan Sobowale explained that despite the liver being a very strong organ of the body, it has a limit to which it can accommodate the processing of alcohol consumed.
Sobowale also disclosed that as part of efforts to fight against irresponsible drinking, Guinness Brewery was partnering with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to educate the public and motorists on the dangers of excessive drinking.
